Ceramics in Harmony

John Kalb operates Ceramics in Harmony, producing functional stoneware pottery from locally sourced Southland clay. His handmade pieces, fired in gas or wood-fired kilns, are food safe and designed for everyday use, retaining the natural qualities of the clay. A full-time potter since 1980, John blends traditional techniques with a focus on harmonious glazes. He sells his work at artisan markets, shops, and galleries across New Zealand.
