George's Garden

George St Orchard is an urban food forest in Dunedin, transformed from a backyard into a thriving edible landscape by Rory Harding since 2008. They cultivate a diverse range of organic fruits, berries, and vegetables, including unique varieties like blood peaches, haskap berries, and 'Hereweka' figs, and also propagate and sell edible plants. Rory employs sustainable no-till, compost-based, food forest principles, meticulously utilizing microclimates to grow a wide array of produce.
