- Banks Track offers two primary self-guided hiking packages: the '3-Day Classic Walk' which includes 3 nights of accommodation and luggage transfer, allowing hikers to carry only a day pack
- and the '2-Day Hikers Option' which covers the same route over 2 nights, requiring hikers to carry their own packs and sleeping at Ōnuku and Stony Bay huts. Optional extras are available to enhance the experience, including seasonal penguin tours (typically Oct-Jan and April) for 3-Day Walkers, private room accommodation, additional pack cartage, and kayaking
