Their Story
The first grapes were planted at Ake Ake Vineyard in 1998. John Clarke and Aynsley Quenault purchased the property and were instrumental in establishing the vineyard, cultivating the land to produce their unique wines. The vineyard has since grown to become a notable boutique organic producer in the Northland region.
