Who we are
Artisan Farmers Market (“AFM”, “we”) is a New Zealand discovery platform for artisan producers at farmers markets, operated from New Zealand and subject to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Browsing collects almost nothing
You can browse AFM without an account. We run no advertising and no third-party analytics trackers. The only cookies are the ones that keep signed-in makers and admins logged in.
The install prompt stays on your phone
If you see our “add to home screen” suggestion, everything it knows — what you dismissed and which market pages you looked at this visit — is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
What we collect when you give it to us
If you register as a maker, claim a listing, or send us a message, we collect your name, email, and what you write. Makers additionally provide business details for their public listing. We use these details to run the platform and reply to you — never to sell or rent to anyone.
Information about businesses
Listings describe businesses, built from public sources and our own market visits. We label the evidence behind each listing. Makers' personal contact details are not published without a consent basis; corrections and takedown requests go through our contact page, and we act on them.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and sign-in, hosted in AWS Sydney), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudinary (images), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for a copy of information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Use the contact page; requests reach the founder directly. If we can't resolve something, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
