Their Story
Gernot Goex, originally from Berlin, established Gernot's Gold in Napier, Hawke's Bay, creating traditional artisan, Mediterranean-style fruit preserves. His hand-crafted jams, marmalades, and jellies found favour with Kiwis, and were sold at local venues such as the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market. Gernot has since retired from the business.
